Angry
It seems as though the long-awaited SBC has started again (Thursdays & Sundays - 28th Jan to 7 Apr).

As all of our team members have always 'struggled' through each SBC race (and used it as a virtual-pub-TS-social-event),
I might find it difficult to keep our GOnP4 team together.

What a shame as we have been practising hard Hehe!_1
Hi Robin,
Thanks for your warning message and having built a team for GOnP4, yes finally the SBC is back .... and very late.....
As it is overlapping with GOnP4, don't expect that we change the dates because of unfair organisers.
We have experienced in the past the stupidity of these guys, they were unfair, ...... they will be unfair again. This is why Condor Café exists. Many thanks to them !
Concerning the races, feel free to fly here or there, it's only a game, we will not blame your team to make the wrong choice, it's your decision and we respect it.
Our pleasure is to provide a good service, reliable servers, with interesting competitions and daily flights; we have faithful pilots with whom we share friendship and good times.
We hope the Beast will return!
Philippe (for the Condor Café team)
I agree with you completely! It is sheer arrogance to have not considered popular (and very different) competions when
scheduling.
Some us that have flown Condor Cafe (many of us have limited time available for fun) have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
(I only wish I was not so lazy, learn some French, and come and join you on TS)
I am hoping that during our weekly 'stumble and talk nonsense' flight tomorrow, we can come up with a plan.
best regards
Robin

(now where is Norbert and team? - we are/were fit&ready for the challenge Confused
Hi Robin,

You are always welcome on our TS channels, there will be normally somebody that could speak some (broken) english.
For the competition we may open a channel for your team if you don't have a TS server. Let's us know after your weekly meeting.
Concerning Norbert, he has probably made a different choice than GOnP4 this time, I will ask him.

Condor Cafe team,

2 years ago, because we had different views, you decided to leave Condorsim.fr and create your own forum and condor servers.
It is useless to say that we are stupid because apart of the very few of you involved, nobody in the public know the whole behind-the-scene story. Or they know your version only.

I am amazed that 2 years after the events you have still not flipped through the page and cannot refrain from speaking about the past.

Regarding fair or unfair: you decide the schedule for all your competitions without coordinating with anybody so I don't see why we cannot do the same. I don't see what is unfair? May I remind you that Condorsim.fr has been organizing SBC since 2009, every winter?

Since you left Condorsim.fr forum and servers, we have never been bashing you on our forums so I would advise you to do the same to avoid a flame war.

Venir s'inscrire spécialement pour polémiquer représente en effet un degré certain de stupidité.
Personne n'a envie de voir réapparaître ce genre d'abonné sur ce forum.
Chacun dans son pré, les vaches bien gardées.
Full stop.

Hi Robin,

At this point in time, no news from Norbert. Please ask him too.

Philippe,

I will see what kind of taunts I can make to lure him in! - a small delegation in chicken costumes sent to his home to retrieve the trophy?
we are not disrespecting the level of expertise of the other teams - it is just in our nature to aim high -that way we fall further!

Progress in holding our team together is going well - 3 'old-timers' plus 1 secret new superstar? have committed (so far) to the Beastly GonP4 challenge.
personally if I look at my SBC2015 results - 25 starts, 24 finishes, 1 crash.... and I still only managed  65th place, is a reality-check that , as a solo pilot, I am no good!

We do feel that GonP suits the 'culture' of our group - if you ever eavesdrop onto our TS, you never hear talk of gliding....any other subject
(however politically-incorrect) is encouraged in our 'virtual pub'......e.g not a lot of sympathy (and muffled laughter) for others misfortunes etc.

Best regards
Robin
PS: I apologise for inflaming old wounds in the French Condor community - subtlety and  tact are not my greatest assets
Hi Robin,
We have 9 well staffed teams , so GonP4 should be OK. Anyway, we are not paid as a fonction of the number of participating pilots  Happy_1 . And it will be a good opportunity to improve your skills as your buddies wil help you to find out the best route or a good lift... if any !
If speed is important as in every competition, the pleasure to fly together with good friends is superseding, as I can see that your "virtual pub" is so close to our "Bistrot du Condor Café"!!! Smiley_mini_3d_autres_0007-254f
And yes, why not post here your photos flying in chichen costumes :

We are eager to see also your new superstar  Dodgy

PS : Don't be sorry for that. Who cares about years-old stories except troublemakers?

Hope to see you with the other teams and bring the trophee back home. Good luck Robin!
