The MOROCCO TOUR 2016 is an individual competition open to all pilots owning a legal version of Condor.
8 legs will be necessary to complete the circuit.
All participants agree to strictly comply and conform to these rules. 


1- Registration and dates :
- The Condor Club registration is mandatory.
- The competition is free, however, monitor your credit of .ftr files upload. If you are not a Premium member of the Condor Club, you can only upload 5 .ftr files maximum per month.
Registration for the competition is at the Condor Club :
- Closing date : Saturday 22th of October 2016 at 4:00 p.m. UTC (18:00 Paris time).
- Registration at our forum is strongly recommended to be kept informed, especially in case of technical problems shortly before the race:

2- Calendar and Schedule : 

Schedule : 6:00 a.m. UTC (winter time) or 08:00 Paris local time.

Calendar :
Every Sunday From Sunday September  4th up to Sunday October 23th, 2016.

3- Briefing :
"H" being the opening servers time (see below), the briefing will be available:
In the form of simplified briefing by email and at the Condor Club at H-45mn.
In the form of full briefing at the Condor Club at H-15mn.

4- Sceneries and Gliders :  
- Scenery : Haut_Atlas_Maroc and Haut_Atlas_Est.
- Glider : All races will be on LS4. Consequently, you must have the plane pack 2.
The pilot who had not chosen the LS4 will be considered as not having participated in the race and will not be ranked for this race.

5- Servers :
- It is anticipated that at least 3 servers will open simultaneously at 6:00 a.m. UTC or 08:00 Paris local time.
Name of servers (and class) :  "Morocco Tour Server A" (B et C).
- Password: will be indicated in the briefing.
- Maximum allowed Ping: 1000 ms.
- Jointime: 20 minutes, the servers will be available between 08:00 and 08:20 Paris local time to join the race.
- Race in: 3 minutes for a normal start; there will be no start in regatta mode.
- Window Start: open for 30 minutes.

6- Realism Settings :
- Sight distance between gliders : 8 km.
- Visualization of thermals : no.
- Distance of visibility of TP : Not visible.
- Real-time Score : no.
- External views : no.
- Locked views  :no.
- Glider Repair : unauthorized.
- Altitude recovery : unauthorized.
- Collision Repair: allowed without penalty.
- Flying in the clouds : maximum penalty.

7- b]Rules in flight[/b]:
- 10 km around the starting line, thermals should be circled left (even if the pilot has already started).
- You need to circle in the same direction as the first glider in the thermal. Direction changes must be done outside of the thermal.
- Restart after turning the first TP is not allowed.
- The glider who has the slope to the right has priority.
- Pilots must cross by the right side ("As on our continental roads...").
- Overpassing a glider must be on its right side ( “As on other roads ...”).

8- Calculation of results and Ranking : 
- For each race, the pilot with the best time will score 1000 points from which are deducted penalty points.
- A crash during a race gives a null score to the pilot of this given race.
- For a field landing points are computed according to the distance travelled.
- For the final ranking, only the best 6 results are taken into account. 
- The pilot must upload the . ftr file on the Condor Club, at the address indicated in the briefing, before 11:00 p.m. UTC or 13h00 Paris time, the day of the race. After this time has elapsed, the pilot will be ranked as "crashed" with 0 points.
To do that, the pilot shall use the link at the very bottom of the page of the Condor Club briefing that points to the page :  Condor Club/MOROCCO TOUR 2016/General Ranking/Competition Day n°x/Race Results. This is on this page that .ftr are to be uploaded.
- In case of absence of ,ftr or any ,ftr that does not indicate the end of a normal flight (field landing, crash or terminated circuit) the pilot will be considered as crashed. It is up to the pilot to check its hardware / Condor configuration. (Somehow, as the pre-flight inspection in real life.)
- In case of disconnection, the pilot shall continue the flight offline without delay and upload the .ftr file at the Condor Club when the flight is completed.
- Even if the case of field landing or crash, each pilot must upload the .ftr file at the Condor Club before 11:00 p.m. UTC or 13h00 Paris time, the day of the race.
- A disconnected pilot shall continue the flight offline without interruption, as if it were still online. For obvious reasons of fairness to pilots still connected, use of the "Pause" button is not allowed.
- A disconnected pilot must upload the .ftr file at the Condor Club IMMEDIATELY after the end of its flight, otherwise it will be deemed to have misused the “Pause” button and will not be listed for this race.
- A disconnected pilot unable to upload its .ftr file is considered as crashed, as it is not possible to prove that he has completed his flight.
- A pilot not having selected the right glider defined for the race will not be considered as having participated to the race and will not be listed for this race.
- Any personal computer crash leading to an interrupt of the race is considered as a pilot crash and gives a null score to the pilot for this race.

- Once the race is started and because of a server failure a disconnection occurs, the involved pilots shall continue the flight offline without delay and upload the .ftr file as indicated above.

9- Claims :
- Claims and inquiries by PM (forum Private Message) or Condor Club or email will not be processed!
- Any claim must be submitted under the appropriate topic, not later than 48 hours after the start of the race :
- Claims related to a server failure will not be processed (That's life!)

10- Organizers team :
- JJ SEGUI (SEG), PiedAlu (PIC) et Phil_deLaine (PHP) is the organizing team.

- The organizing team can change the rules of the competition at any time, if necessary. and justification of the change will be given in the « Rules » topic :

- The organizing team is the jury. In case of dispute, it is supreme and its decisions are final.

11- Cheating :
- Any attempt to cheat will be punished by the pilot disqualification.
